14、95 BSI 09-1999 1 1 Scope This Subsection of BSAU50-4 specifies contours and dimensions of rims for use with code-designated series tyres used on industrial vehicles. Requirements for such tyres are specified in BSAU50-1.5.1:1994. Requirements for rim construction and workmanship are specified in BSA
15、U50-2.0:1979. SAFETY NOTE. The wheel manufacturer should also be consulted to determine whether the rim and wheel is of sufficient strength for the intended service. In particular, care should be taken to ensure that the wheel will withstand the maximum pressure of any tyre that can be fitted in acc
16、ordance with BSAU50-1.5.1:1994. This pressure may exceed1000 kPa (10bar) for both diagonal and radial tyres. 2 References 2.1 Normative reference This Subsection of BS AU50-4 incorporates, by dated or undated reference, provisions from another publication.
