24、quired by the technical specification or the product standard; homogeneity of materials (for example:cavities, presence of foreign matters); presence or absence of a lubricant in the designated area; loosened or separated parts. 4 Means of examination The examination shall be done: either with the n
25、aked eye and suitable vision and lighting; or by optical means. Special methods such as the use of polarizing light (to observe internal stresses inside materials) or other indicators (to observe cracks or cavities inside materials) are not required unless called for in the technical specification.
