20、re to determine the force required to open cable ties for aerospace appli-cations under the maximum working temperature. It shall be used together with EN 4057-100. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated refer-ences

22、01: Loop tensile strength 3 Apparatus A tensile tester as required in EN 4057-401. A laboratory oven capable of reaching the maximum working temperature 0 C to 75 C of the cable ties as specified in the product standard. 4 Procedure Mount the specimen on a split mandrel as described in EN 4057-401.
23、Place the specimen mounted on the split mandrel in the oven at the maximum rated temperature 50+C as specified in the product standard, for at least 3 h. Whilst still in the oven and mounted on the mandrel, submit the specimen to the loop tensile test as specified in EN 4047-401. The minimum force t
24、o failure shall be recorded. 5 Requirements All specimens shall meet the minimum force to failure as specified in the product standard.
