21、typeCstandardasstatedinEN1 070.Thisstandardhasbeenpreparedtobea harmonisedstandardtoprovideonemeansofconformingtotheessentialsafetyrequirementsoftheLiftDirective. Themachineryconcernedandtheextenttowhichhazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsarecoveredare indicatedinthescopeofthestandard. Whenprovision

24、byarescueorganisation.EN8128:2003(E) 5 1Scope Thisstandardappliestoalarmsystemsforalltypesofpassengerandgoodspassengerlifts,inparticularthose coveredintheEN81seriesofstandards. Thisstandardalsodealswiththeminimuminformationgiventotheowneroftheinstallationrelatedtomaintenance andrescueservice. Thisst
25、andarddealswiththefollowingsignificanthazardrelevanttoliftswhentheyareusedasintendedandunder theconditionsforeseenbytheinstaller/manufacturer: Entrapmentofusersduetotheliftnotworkingproperly. Thisstandardisnotapplicabletoalarmsystemsintendedtobeusedtocallforhelpinothercases,e.g.heart attack,seekingi
26、nformation. Thisstandardisapplicabletoalarmsystemsusedforliftsmanufacturedandinstalledafterthedateofpublication byCENofthisstandard. Inaddition,alarmsystemsshallbedesignedaccordingtotheprinciplesofEN2921andEN2922forhazards relevantbutnotsignificantwhicharenotdealtwithbythisdocumen
39、t(e.g.sharpedges). 4.1.1Alarms Thealarmequipmentshallensurethatsubjectto4.1.5alarmfiltering,thefullalarminformation(see4.1.6)willbe emitteduntilacknowledgement,evenduringmaintenance. Ifanemissionfailsbeforeacknowledgement,thedelaybetweenreemission(s)shallbereducedtotheminimum compatiblewiththecommun
40、icationnetwork(seeEN811:1998,0.2.5andEN812:1998,0.2.5). Wherethecharacteristicsofthecommunicationnetworkrequire(seeEN811:1998,0.2.5andEN812:1998, 0.2.5)andifthecommunicationisinterruptedanyreemissionafteracknowledgementshallnotbeimpededbythe alarmequipment.Thealarmsystemshallbeabletoacceptcommunicat
41、ionfromtherescueserviceuntiltheendof thealarmhasoccurred. Emissionofthealarminformationtothetransmittershallnotbedelayed,exceptduringfiltering. Betweentheacknowledgementandtheendofalarm,anyfilteringshallbebypassed. Afteracknowledgement,ifthecommunicationisinterrupted,thealarmequipmentshallstopautoma
42、ticreemission. 4.1.2 Endofalarm Meansshallbeprovidedtoenableindication,fromthealarmsystemtotherescueservice,thatthealarmhasbeen dealtwithandnouseristrappedinthelift. Theendofalarmshallonlybeinitiatedfromtheinstallationtowhichthealarmbelongs.Themeanstoinitiatethe endofalarmshallbeoutofthereachofanyno
43、ncompetentperson. Provisionshallbemadethatthealarmequipmentallowsforremoteresetting. 4.1.3 Emergencyelectricalpowersupply Anyalarmshallnotbeimpededorlostevenincasesofelectricalpowersupplyswitchingorpowersupplyfailure. Wherearechargeableemergencyelectricalpowersupplyisused,meansshallbeprovidedtoinformautomatically therescueserviceassoonasthecapacityislowerthanneededtoprovideonehouroffunctionofthealarm system. 4.1.4 Informationintheliftcar AvisibleandaudiblesignalshallcorrespondwiththerequirementofEN8170:2003,5.4.4.3andi
