22、abletoqualitydefectsinnewsurfacecourse(s)ofroads,airfieldsandother traffickedsurfacesaswellasinservicesurfaces. Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletoprovidinginformationonprofileorgeneralunevenness.Single irregularitiesarebynaturerandom,andconsequentlynoroutinesamplingratesorprecisiondataare specified. 2

25、measurethedistanceofasurfacefromtheplaneofitsmeasurementedge.The measurementedgeofthestraightedgeshallbeidentifiable. 3.2 Thestraightedgeshallbe(30003)mmandofrigidconstructionsuchthatwhensuspendedatthe endpointsitsmeasurementedgeshallnotdeviatefromatrueplanebymorethan0,5mmatanypoint.The straightedge

29、faceandcanbe demonstratedtoachieveanequivalentstandardofaccuracyasrequiredin3.3.EN130367:2003(E) 6 4Test methods 4.1General Ensurethatthesurfaceisfreefromdetritus.Placethestraightedgeonthesurfaceperpendiculartoit,atany placeandinanydirection. 4.2Longitudinal Ensurethatthesurfaceisfreefromdetritus.Pl

30、acethestraightedgeonthesurfaceperpendiculartoit,and paralleltothecentrelineoftheroad. 4.3Transverse Ensurethatthesurfaceisfreefromdetritus.Placethestraightedgeonthesurfaceperpendiculartoit,and perpendiculartothecentrelineoftheroad.Thestraightedgemaybemovedacrossthelanewidthand constructionjointstode

31、terminethegreatestirregularity. NOTE Thisapparatuscanalsobeusedtransverselytomeasurerutdepthofinserviceroads.Thisapplicationisthe subjectofaseparatestandardprEN(WI00227133). 4.4Procedure 4.4.1 Placethewedgeonthesurfacesothatfirmcontactwiththesurfaceisobtained.Thewedgeshallbe perpendiculartothemeasur

32、ementedgeofthestraightedge.Measurementsmaybetakenfrombothsidesof thestraightedge,betweentwocontactpointsofthestraightedgeandthesurface. 4.4.2 Measurethedistancebetweenthemeasurementedgeofthestraightedgeandthesurfaceby insertingthewedgeinthegaptorefusalandbyreadingoffthemarkedincrementsontheslopeofth

Measurementsshallbemadetoascertainthegreatestdistancebetweenthestraightedgeandthesurfaceto bemeasured. 4.4.3 Measurementsshallberecordedtothenearest1mm 4.5 Testreport Thetestreportshallcontainthefollowinginformation: a) referencetothisEuropeanstandard; b) testdate; c) referencenumberofthestr
