26、llybetween5Cand8C. 7Procedure 7.1Test pieces Thetestpiecesshallbeconcreteslabs(4.3)measuring300mmx300mmx60mm.Fourconcreteslabsshallbe fabricated,curedandstoredinaccordancewithEN1766usingaconcreteMC(0,40)withanaggregatesizeof 8mm.ThecastfacetobeusedasthesurfaceforthecoatingshallbepreparedaccordingtoE

27、N1766bygrit blasting. 7.2 Storageofthetestpieces AfterstorageaccordingtoEN1766alltestpiecesshallbepreconditionedatleastfor14daysatatemperatureof (21 2)C/(60 10)%R.H.Twotestpiecesshallbestoredfor7daysunderwaterattheMAT.Tworeference testpiecesshallbestoredfor5daysinaclimate(21 2)C/(60 10)%R.H.and2days

28、attheMATandrelative humidityof(75 10)%. NOTE Arelativehumidityof(75 10)%isachievedat5C8Cintheclimatechamberautomatically.EN13578:2003(E) 6 7.3Coating a) Coatingofthetestpiecestobestoredunderwater Thetestpiecesareremovedfromthewaterbath(4.6)andthesurfacestobecoatedaredabbedwithanabsorbent papertowel.

29、Thespecimensarethenstoredinahorizontalpositionfor2,5hoursattheMATandarelative humidityof(75 10)%.ThecoatingmaterialsshallbepreconditionedattheMATandarelativehumidityof (75 10)%for48hpriortothestartoftheapplicationprocess.Mixingandapplicationshallbecarriedoutatthe MATandarelativehumidityof(75 10)%ina

30、ccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructions.Duringperiods betweentheapplicationofcoatsthetestpiecesarestoredinawaterbath(4.6)restingonsupportswhichmaintain thesurfacetobecoatedataheightof10mmabovethesurfaceofthewater(seeFigure1). 33、geinthewater,thecoatedsurfacesshallbeinspectedvisuallyatregularintervals(3to7days).Perceptible changesinthecoating(peeling,blistering,discolouration)shallberecordedincomparisontothereferencetest piecesaccordingISO46281,2and5.ThereferencetestpiecesshallbestoredforthesametimeatMATand (75 10)%relativeh

Attheendof56daysstorageperiodthetestpiecesshallberemovedfromthebath,anyareaswithblisterswhich havebeenformedaremarkedwithafelttippenandaredocumentedphotographically.Thetestpiecesarethen storedfor2daysinaclimate(21 2)C/(60 10)%R.H. Thecoatingshallthenbeinspectedagainforblistersandforrecessio
