17、he acceptance as European Standard. The reference document was submitted to the CENELEC members for formal vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60169-23 on6July1993. 21、g face details for the following two types of connectors: GPC: General Precision Connector Instrument grade (beaded). LPC: Laboratory Precision Connector Instrument grade (beadless). 1 Scope Coaxial line devices and systems are becoming more prevalent at frequencies above18GHz. This standard covers
22、a precision pin and socket connector for use with3,5mm rigid precision coaxial lines so as to minimize test apparatus errors attributable to coaxial connectors. These connectors are constructed so as to affix on the50 7,3,5mm rigid precision coaxial line described in IEC457-5, and to provide low ref
23、lection to34GHz. For mated pairs, a reflection factor of0,003+0,00135f (GHz) is typical for GPC connectors.
