18、uires the measurement of the overall sound pressure level (LpA) using the A-weighted method. The procedure is as follows (refer to Figure 6): a) at a given travel (corresponding to one of the relative flow coefficients given in Clause 8), the LpAversus xFcurve as shown by the dashed line shall be de

Decrease the pressure ratio xFin such a way that there is a transition from cavitating to non-cavitating flow and measure LpAfor each value of xFused; b) from the above curve, xF3and xF6, which are the approximate values at which the LpAcurve changes slope, shall be determined; c) the rang
20、es xFIand xFIIshall each be divided into three equal parts (designated as “a“ and “b“, respectively); d) at each of the values xF6through xF1, the A-weighted overall sound pressure level shall be measured. This procedure shall be repeated twice so that there are three series of measurements; e) for
