Foreword The text of document 15/390/CDV, future edition 2 of IEC 60641-3-1, prepared by IEC TC 15 “Solid electrical insulating materials“, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and

14、was approved by CENELEC as EN 60641-3-1 on 2008-08-01. This European Standard supersedes EN 60641-3-1:1994. The main changes with respect to EN 60641-3-1:1994 are listed below: requirements for types B.0.3 and B.5.3 were added; the precompressed type B.3.1 was divided in B.3.1A and B.3.1B (higher fl

15、exibility); types B.6.1 has been replaced with a new type, but the designation has been kept; type B.7.1 has been deleted; the thickness relation of the properties has been simplified; the values were adjusted to todays needs of users. The following dates were fixed: latest date by which the EN has

19、: Requirements for pressboard, types B.0.1, B.0.3, B.2.1, B.2.3, B.3.1, B.3.3, B.4.1, B.4.3, B.5.1, B.5.3 and B.6.1 1 Scope This International Standard gives the requirements for pressboard for electrical purposes comprised of 100 % sulphate wood pulp or a mixture of sulphate wood pulp and cotton. M

20、aterials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone.
