It also appli
24、es, except where stated, to equipment having multiple functions, including audio amplifying functions. 28、Electrical conditions The electrical conditions shall be those specified in IEC268-3, clauses3, 5 and8 to12. Source e.m.f. values and impedances shall be taken from IEC268-15 for analogue inputs and IEC958 for digital inputs, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer. 2.2 Climatic conditions Se

30、5 dB; for equalizing inputs, 2 dB. 3.2 Gain difference between channels According to IEC 268-3, 29.1. The most unfavourable value, at any frequency from63Hz to12,5kHz, at any level from 1 dB belowthe rated (distortion-limited) output power orvoltage, to 30 dB or 50 mW, whichever is lower,shall be given. 3
32、.4 Distortion-limited effective frequency range According to IEC 268-3, 21.3. The frequencies shall be given at which the outputpower or voltage giving a stated value of totalharmonic distortion is 3 dB below the rated (distortion-limited) output power or voltage. For multi-channel equipment, where
33、the channels have similar effective frequency ranges and rated output voltages, all channels shall be driven so as to produce approximately the same output. Where the channels differ in characteristics, they shall be driven, if necessary, with signals of different frequency, so as to produce approxi
34、mately the same output level relative to their rated output voltages or powers. 3.5 Rated (distortion-limited) output voltage orpower,measured after 600 s, at the rated valueoftotal harmonic distortion (i.e. that specifiedbythe manufacturer). According to IEC 268-3, 18.3. If the manufacturer specifi
35、es a sustaining time for rated output power or voltage less than 600 s, the measurement shall be made after that time. 3.6 Maximum output voltage and current According to IEC 268-3, amendment 1, 19.5. 3.7 Overload source e.m.f. According to IEC 268-3, 19.1. The values at which the rated total harmon
36、ic distortionis not exceeded shall be given. 3.8 Separation between stereo channels According to IEC 268-3, clause 28. The most unfavourable value measured over the frequency range 250 Hz to 6,3 kHz, and for any positionof the volume control from maximum to thatgiving 46 dB attenuation, shall be giv
37、en. 3.9 Cross-talk between unrelated channels According to IEC 268-3, clause 28. The measurements shall be made at frequenciesbetween 1 kHz and 10 kHz. Themostunfavourable values, specified as in3.8,shallbe given for each pair of unrelated inputs,andbetween each input and any low-level outputs(such
38、as those for recording). 3.10 Unweighted (band-limited) signal-to-noise ratioexpressed in decibels According to IEC 268-3, clause 23, using the wide-band filter specified in 6.1 of IEC 268-1 and the true r.m.s. meter specified in 6.2.1 of IEC 268-1. Thecontrols shall be set to give the widest possib
39、le flat frequency response. For amplifiers without volume control, the reference(0dB) level shall be the rated output voltageor power. For amplifiers with volume controls,measurements shall be made with the volumecontrol in the position for rated conditions (see IEC 268-3 3.2.2 and clause 10), and i
40、n the positiongiving a further 30 dB of attenuation. The reference level for the result of the latter measurementis 30 dB below the rated output voltage or power. 41、prehensive specifications shall contain, at least, information on the characteristics given in3.1, 3.3, 3.5, 3.8, 3.9 and3.11. 3.11 A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio, expressedindecibels As for 3.10, but using the A-weighting filter and true r.m.s. meter specified in IEC 268-1, 6.2.1. The procedures
