25、plicationofaforceduringorafterthecessationofrelativemotion.Thereareseveralformsof supplyingenergyandvariousformsofrelativemovements. Thegenerationoffrictionheatingresultsinacomparativelylowjoiningtemperatureattheinterface.Thisis largelythereasonwhyfrictionweldingissuitableformaterialsandmaterialcomb

26、inationswhichareotherwise difficulttoweld.Theweldregionisgenerallynarrowandnormallyhasarefinedmicrostructure. Whilstthefrictionweldingprocessdealsprimarilywithcomponentsofcircularcrosssectionitdoesnotpreclude thejoiningofothercomponentshapes. 1 Scope Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforthefrictionwe

Itspecifiesrequirementsparticulartorotationalfrictionweldingrelatedtoweldingknowledge,quality requirements,weldingprocedurespecification,weldingprocedureapprovalandweldingpersonnel. Thisstandardisappropriatewhereacontract,anapplicationstandardorregulatoryrequ
