The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committ
22、ees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the Int
23、ernational Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Metallurgical imperfections are notincluded. Another system for thedesignation of imperfections is possible, according toISO/TS 178
46、45. Annex B gives the correspondence between theexisting classification ofimperfections according toISO 6520-1 and the designationsystem according toISO/TS 17845.
