26、 adoption without modification of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 61965 (second edition, 2003-07). It supersedes the previous edition published in 2001 (adopted IEC 61965:2000). At the time of publication, IEC 61965:2003 is available from IEC in Englis
27、h only. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is also publishing this International Standard, under the designation UL 61965. Previously, CSA and UL published a binational standard, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 228-92/ UL 1418, Cathode Ray Tubes. To maintain harmonized status on the International Standard, revisions
28、will be coordinated by CSA and UL. This adopted International Standard replaces binational standard CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 228-92/UL 1418, which is being withdrawn. This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Technical Committee on International Standards, under the jurisdiction of the St
29、rategic Steering Committee on Requirements for Electrical Safety, and has been formally approved by the Technical Committee.
