3、tomatic telex directory enquiry systems, - that more and more network operators have recorded the data relating to their telex subscribers, and, if the case arises, to their teletex subscribers, onto magnetic tape, at least for printing the directory, - that it is more expensive for network operator
4、s to run a manual directory enquiry service based on foreign countries most recent printed directories, than to record these countries up-to-date data onto their own computer, - that the network operators which supply this data would also be well advised to apply this system, as fast, reliable direc
5、tory enquiry services allow an unnecessary burden on the destination network (incorrect selection) to be avoided, O recommends a) that the network operators which record the data relating to their Telex/Teletex subscribers on data tapes: - use a universally standardized magnetic tape of the type nor
6、mally used in computers, - arrange the data on these magnetic tapes as indicated in points 1 to 3 below, - supply these data tapes to interested network operators, in order to allow them to introduce this data into their - supply an up-to-date magnetic tape, if possible every three months, - confirm
7、 that they will use the data received from other network operators solely for the requirements of their own directory enquiry service, and that they will neither sell nor transmit this data to third parties for publicity of other purposes, Computerized directory enquiry systems, b) that the network operators which receive this data: - return the magnetic tape to the network operators of origin, - supply in compensation their own data to the network operators of origin.” Note.
