Keep masonry units free from ice and snow and a minimum temperature of 40 degrees F. when laid. Maintain temperature of mortar or grout between 70 degrees F an

16、d 90 degrees F., and mixing water not over 160 degrees F. Maintain air around masonry at 40 degrees F for 72 hours after construction. Do not build on frozen work. Lay plumb, true to line, in level courses accurately spaced with a story pole. Unless otherwise shown, fill spaces around metal doorfram

Fill cells receiving anchor bolts and cells of the first course

27、below bearing plates solidly with mortar or grout. Anchor masonry to concrete backing with dovetail anchors set in grooves or inserts placed in face of concrete and spaced not over 2 ft. apart horizontally and 16 in. apart vertically. 4.8 Cavity wall construction: Unless otherwise indicated, separat
