15、cation of works The following information supplements the general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the co

16、ntract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Depth and types of foundation and constructional details of, and loads from, neighbouring structures. 0.1.2 Any special operating conditions of the drainage o

17、r sewerage system to be considered. 0.1.3 Type of trench support. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Type, design, materials, sizes and location of drains and sewers. 0.2.2 Loading and installation conditions, taking into account the pipe and sewer bedding and trench support withdrawal. DIN 1830

18、6:2016-09 5 0.2.3 Permissible deviations for pipe routing and level (installation depth). 0.2.4 Types of pipe joints, expansion joints, protective coating, waterproofing and of other coatings, and number, type, design, dimensions and location of connections to/junctions with structures. 0.2.5 Type a

19、nd thickness of bedding. 0.2.6 Number, type, location, dimensions and constructional details of existing manholes. 0.2.7 Support and anchorage for drains and sewers, bends, etc. 0.2.8 Relevant standards or codes of practice to be used. 0.2.9 Methods to be used when routing pipes across outdoor circu

20、lation areas or when crossing watercourses, railway tracks, embankments, channels, pipelines, etc. 0.2.10 Any necessary work to ensure the safe discharge of wastewater into existing channels, drains and sewers. 0.2.11 Details (type, scope, method used) of any internal control and third party inspect

21、ion procedures. 0.2.12 Details of any as-built drawings and other documentation to be supplied. 0.2.13 Dimensions of the embedment, including bedding, sidefill and initial backfill. Requirements regarding workmanship and methods of securing the embedment. Minimum cover of piping. Accessible working

22、spaces and any specified laying depths. 0.2.14 Number, location, size and shape of working spaces needed for jointing pipes and cables. 0.2.15 Types and quantities of soil or construction materials and any relevant requirements (e.g. for bearings, or for filling the embedment). 0.2.16 The degree of

23、compaction and its verification. 0.2.17 Requirements resulting from expert opinion, particularly from geotechnical records in accordance with DIN 4020, DIN EN 1997-2 and DIN EN 1997-2/NA or in respect of hydrogeology, with details of the extent to which these requirements are to be taken into consid

24、eration in doing the work. 0.3 Details not included in the specifications of this standard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made that are not included in the specifications of this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may

25、be of particular relevance in subclause 3.2.1, if testing is to be carried out in a way other than specified. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks The following are especially likely to require separate itemization in accordance with DIN 18299, subclause 0.4.1: pipe jointing (see subcla

26、use 4.1.6). DIN 18306:2016-09 6 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following units, accounted for separately according to type, materials and dimensions: drains and sewers: by length (m), waterproofing, protective or other coatings: by ar

27、ea (m2), pipe fittings: by number, precast manhole elements and components: by number, manholes: by depth (m) or number, base slabs and other slabs: by length (m) or area (m2), embedment: by volume (m3), area (m2) or length (m), extended embedment when jointing pipes and cables: by number. 1 Scope 1

28、.1 This standard deals with the laying of drains and sewers underground, including those passing under buildings, and the installation of associated manholes. It also applies to embedment backfilling work. 1.2 This standard does not cover the trenchwork associated with pipelaying and manhole constru

29、ction (see DIN 18300), timbering to trenchwork (see DIN 18303), laying of pressure pipework (see DIN 18307), trenchless pipelaying (see DIN 18319), the building of in-situ concrete structures (see DIN 18331), the installation of drainage systems inside buildings (see DIN 18381), the laying of pipes

30、passing through ductwork. 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18306 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The materi

31、als and components used shall conform to DIN EN 1610. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows: DIN 18306:2016-09 7 3.1 General 3.1.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: unsuitability

32、 of the pipe trench for pipelaying (e.g. with regard to its depth and width, its support, or the condition of the bearing stratum or bedding). 3.1.2 The client and the operator shall be notified immediately of any damage to existing service pipes, cables, drains or sewers. Pipes, cables, drains, etc

33、. that are sling-supported or propped up shall not be walked on or otherwise loaded. 3.1.3 Walking on drains or sewers shall not be permitted without the clients consent. 3.2 Construction and testing of drains, sewers and manholes 3.2.1 Drains, sewers and manholes shall be constructed and tested in

34、accordance with DIN EN 1610. 3.2.2 Masonry drains, sewers and manholes are to be built using vitrified sewer bricks, with joints on the inner face pointed flush. 3.2.3 Drains and sewers in contact with waste water shall be provided with smooth inner surfaces. 3.3 Placing of embedment 3.3.1 The embed

35、ment of drains and sewers shall be placed in accordance with DIN EN 1610. 3.3.2 The client shall be notified immediately if the requirements cannot be met, in spite of suitable equipment and working techniques being used and the material being placed to the required thickness. Provided the contracto

36、r cannot be held responsible, the action taken and the ensuing work count as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.3.3 Frozen strata shall not be compacted. 3.3.4 Prior to placing the embedment, any foreign matter likely to cause damage shall be removed. 3.3.5 Saturation of soil is permitted only w

37、ith the clients consent. 3.3.6 In the embedment, the soil or mixture of soil and other materials shall be placed in layers on each side of the piping and carefully compacted. The compaction equipment shall be chosen to suit the soil or mixture of soil and other materials and the depth to which they

38、are filled. DIN 18306:2016-09 8 4 Associated tasks and special tasks 4.1 In addition to those specified in DIN 18299 subclause 4.1, the following also count as associated tasks: 4.1.1 Establishing the condition of roads, of the ground surface, of receiving waters, etc., in accordance with VOB/B (DIN

39、 1961), 3, clause 4. 4.1.2 Cleaning of materials and building elements provided by the contractor, before they are placed. 4.1.3 Supply of step irons fitted into precast units. 4.1.4 Making spaces for pipe joints in the bedding. 4.1.5 Cleaning the connections to existing drains, sewers and manholes.

40、 4.1.6 Pipe jointing, except for work specified in subclause 4.2.10. 4.2 In addition to those specified in DIN 18299, subclause 4.2, the following also count as special tasks: 4.2.1 The special tasks specified in subclause 3.3.2. 4.2.2 Providing structural analyses for drains, sewers and manholes, i

41、ncluding drawings of formwork and reinforcement for special structures such as stormwater inlets, culverts, inverted siphons or tanks. 4.2.3 Special work in placing the pipe bedding. 4.2.4 Cleaning of any soiled materials and building elements provided by the client, unless the contractor himself ha

42、s caused this work to become necessary. 4.2.5 Installation of fittings such as branches or bends. 4.2.6 Installation of purpose-made components, manhole tops and step irons, except for work specified in subclause 4.1.3. 4.2.7 Soil investigations and water analyses. 4.2.8 Tightness testing, including

43、 the provision and removal of anchorages and pipe caps required for the test. 4.2.9 Providing and discharging the medium required for tightness testing. 4.2.10 Fitting of any couplings for jointing drain or sewer pipes unless the contractor himself has caused this work to become necessary. 4.2.11 Wo

44、rk to ensure the safe discharge of wastewater into existing channels, drains and sewers. 4.2.12 Catering for third party inspection procedures. DIN 18306:2016-09 9 4.2.13 Preparation of documentation of conditions on site. 4.2.14 Placing of the embedment where the working space is extended for pipe

45、jointing. 5 Settlement of accounts The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 5 shall be supplemented as follows: 5.1 General Irrespective of whether the dimensions used to determine the work are taken from actual measurements or drawings, accounting shall be based on the dimensions of the individual p

46、arts making up the drainage system. 5.2 Determination of quantities/dimensions 5.2.1 For quantity estimates, the customary methods of approximation may be used. 5.2.2 Accounting by length shall be based on the length measured along the centreline of the drains and sewers. 5.2.3 Accounting of the man

47、hole depth shall be based on the depth as measured from the seat surface of the manhole top to the invert of the sewer. 5.2.4 Measurement of placed soil and/or other materials shall be based on the quantity as placed and compacted. 5.2.5 If not otherwise specified, measurement of battered excavation

48、s shall be based on an angle of slope (measured from the horizontal) of 45; 60 for fine-grained soil of at least stiff consistency, and 80 for rock. If berms are necessary, the actual profile shall be taken into account. 5.2.6 The width of the embedment in excavations for components of the sewer sys

49、tem, such as manholes, is to be based on the outside dimensions of the structure plus the minimum width of working spaces as specified in DIN 4124 and the dimensions required for formwork and supports. When measuring sheetpiling, the centreline shall be taken as the outside dimension. 5.2.7 Measurement of the width of the bottom of a trench is to be based on the minimum width of trenches according to D
