This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applica
20、ble. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Location and layout of the wharfage, cargo handling facilities, berths and moorings that are available for the contractors use. 0.1.2 Types and condition of sites on land where to deposit the spoil temporarily and of routes along which the spoil is pumped ashore. 0.1.
21、3 Statistical information on underground and surface waters (e.g. speed of currents, water levels, discharge rates, sea swell, fluctuations in tidal current, storm tides, or other information on wind effects, fog and ice regime). DIN 18311:2016-09 7 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following: dredging and depositing of material: by volume (m3), area (m2) or mass (t), accounted for separately according to length of haul
38、ing routes, haulage: by volume (m3) or mass (t), accounted for separately according to length of hauling routes, removal of obstructions: by mass (t), number or volume (m3), removal of individual trees: by number, removal of individual cobbles or boulders: by number or volume (m3). 1 Scope 1.1 This
39、standard deals with the dredging of soil and rock, including loading, haulage, and depositing of the material under water or ashore. It also covers the removal of soil or rock from embankments, if such work is associated with dredging. 1.2 This standard does not cover earthwork in general (see DIN 1
40、8300), excavation for land drainage (see DIN 18308), excavation for landscaping purposes (see DIN 18320). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18311 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specific

43、nto homogeneous zones, depending on their condition. A homogeneous zone is a limited area comprising one or more soil or rock strata that, for dredging work, exhibit comparable properties. If these contain substances that are of environmental relevance, these shall be taken into consideration when c
44、lassifying the soil or rock into homogeneous zones. For the homogeneous zones, the following properties and characteristics together with their range, as determined, shall be indicated. Information is given below on the standards or recommendations with which these characteristics can be verified, w
45、here applicable. If several methods are possible, one standard or recommendation shall be specified. For soil: local designation, grain-size distribution with bandwidths according to DIN 18123, proportion of cobbles, boulders and large boulders according to DIN EN ISO 14688-1, determined by separati
46、ng and measuring or sieving, then weighing and referring the results to the overall mass of excavated material, undrained shear strength according to DIN 4094-4, DIN 18136 or DIN 18137-2, water content according to DIN EN ISO 17892-1, consistency according to DIN EN ISO 14688-1, density/compactness:
47、 definition according to DIN EN ISO 14688-2; determination according to DIN 18126, lime content according to DIN 18129, organic matter content according to DIN 18128, DIN 18311:2016-09 9 identification and description of organic soils according to DIN EN ISO 14688-1, soil group according to DIN 1819

To describe shifting soil (e.g. for maintenance dredging work), it is sufficient to state the particle size distribution according to DIN 18123 with bandwidths and the consistency according to DIN EN ISO 14688-1. For rock: local designation, identification of rock according to DIN EN ISO 14689-1,
49、 bulk density according to DIN EN ISO 17892-2 or DIN 18125-2, weathering and alteration effects, stability according to DIN EN ISO 14689-1, unconfined compressive strength of the rock type according to DIN 18141-1, orientation and spacing of discontinuities, and block shape (according to DIN EN ISO 14689-1). 2.3 Description and classification of
