The DIN 2430 series of standards comprises: Part 1

5、: Straight pipes and elbows Part 2: Pipe joints Part 3: Trial pigging (prior to commissioning) Amendments This standard differs from DIN 2430-2:2002-11 as follows: a) Dimensions and tolerances have been brought into line with current practice. b) The materials to be used are now only identified by t

Previous editions DIN 2430-2: 1924-09, 1929-12, 2002-11 3 DIN 2430-2:2009-02 1 Scope This standard specifies requirements and methods of test for joints in pipes and elbows as in DIN 2430-1, flanges and valves as part of piggable piping

10、able flanges shall have dimensions as specified in Figure 1 and Table 1. Designation of a flange of nominal size DN 50, made of steel of material number 1.4404, rated for a pressure of 40 bar (PN 40), with grooved facing (R): Flange DIN 2430 50 40 R 1.4404 This standard only specifies the dimensions

11、 and tolerances relevant to piggability. All other dimensions for type 11 flanges, use of which is recommended, are to be found in DIN EN 1092-1. Such flanges normally require machining for connection to piggable pipes and fittings. For ease of jointing, flanges with grooved and raised facings shall

18、nce to static pressure and, where relevant, to dynamic pressure. 3.4 Marking Marking shall be as in DIN EN 1092-1. Additionally, flanges shall be marked with the number of this standard (DIN 2430), their type (V or R). 3.5 Materials testing certificate Compliance of flanges with the requirements of

19、the order shall be verified by means of an inspection certifi-cate 3.1 as in EN 10204. 4 Welded connections 4.1 General In accordance with the current state of technology, the quality of welds required for pigging will only be ensured by semi-automatic orbital welding (generally, without the use of

20、welding consumables). 7 DIN 2430-2:2009-02 8 4.2 Requirements Welds shall have no sharp edges. Linear misalignment shall not exceed the values specified in Table 3 (see Figures 2 and 3). 22、 EN ISO 5817 shall be specified. The following additional requirements shall apply for pipes: Pipes should originate from the same lot and batch. Any misalignment of pipes resulting from ovality and other dimensional deviations of the products shall be rectified prior to welding. 4.3 Testing Endoscopic or videoscopic testing and measurement on test pieces manufactured under realistic conditions should be used for checking the quality of welds.
