、:2014-05 3 Foreword This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 082-00-07 AA Rohrverschraubungen of the Normenausschuss Rohrleitungen und Dampfkesselanlagen (NARD) (Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee). Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this docum
、ent may be the subject of patent rights. DIN and/or DKE shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. The publication of this standard was necessary because certain provisions in DIN EN ISO 9974-1 and DIN EN ISO 9974-3 had to be deleted. On the basis of the material us
、ed for stud ends having a tolerance of 0,2, this standard specifies a higher tolerance for diameter d3, in deviation from DIN EN ISO 9974-3, so that another machined surface can be produced. The inclusion of this modification in the next revision of ISO 9974-3 is planned. In the tables, dimensions m
、arked are identical with those specified in DIN EN ISO 9974-1 and DIN EN ISO 9974-3. Annex A is informative. Amendments This standard differs from DIN 3852-1:2002-05 as follows: a) the title of the standard has been modified; b) dimensions for type C stud ends have been deleted from Table 1 and are
、now given in a new Table 2; c) dimensions d3for small stud ends as in DIN EN ISO 9974-3 have been deleted from Table 1; d) dimensions d3for large stud ends have been deleted from Table 1; e) dimensions for type Z ports have been deleted from Table 2 and are now given in a new Table 4; f) dimensions
、for type A and type B stud ends for sizes M56x2, M60x2, M64x2 and M78x2 have been deleted because they are no longer used in practice; g) dimensions for type X and type Y ports for sizes M56x2, M60x2, M64x2 and M78x2 have been deleted because they are no longer used in practice; h) the designation a
、nd examples of designations have been modified; i) the standard has been editorially revised. Previous editions DIN KrG 403: 1931-12 DIN 7602: 1935-10, 1947-05 DIN 3852-1: 1953x-08, 1964-10, 1966-05, 1978-09, 1992-02, 2002-05 DIN 3852-1:2014-05 4 1 Scope This standard specifies the dimensions, types
