After the publication of the draft
5、 version of DIN 444:2015-09, many comments were received regarding the Standards Committees intentional deletion of Type B eye bolts, prompting the Committee to include Type B in the standard again. Because the planned restrictions on tolerances in Figure 1 also met with resistance and needed to be
6、modified (see new Clause 4 “Geometrical tolerances”), the Committee made the decision to bring out a new version of the standard which incorporated these substantial revisions. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights withou

Amendments This standard differs from DIN 444:1983-04 as follows: a) normative references have been updated; b) in Table 1, minimum and maximum dimensions have been given
8、for d2and r and limit deviations have been included for nominal lengths l = 20 mm and l = 25 mm; in addition, weights have been added for screw threads M5, M6, M8, M20, M24 and M30; c) a figure of an eye bolt threaded nearly to the eye has been added (Figure 2); d) Clause 4 “Geometrical tolerances”

In contrast to DIN 267-2, the maximum peak-to-valley height of the shank may be Rmax= 100 m in the case of product grades A and B. For the eyehole, Rmax= 25 m is permissible for all three types. cThe bore diameters 24 mm, 27 mm
