8、 51515-1:2010-02 3 1 Scope This document specifies minimum requirements for oils for normal thermal stress (normal service) in turbines. Turbine oils are mineral oils containing additives designed to improve corrosion protection and ageing resistance. Where turbine oils are to provide enhanced resis
9、tance to wear, the requirements specified in Clause 4 also apply. The turbine oils specified in this document are used in lubrication and, in some cases, control systems in steam turbines, gas turbines, in machines with electric drive or such driven by steam turbines (such as generators, compressors
10、, pumps), and in drive mechanisms. Turbine oil with increased wear resistance requirements (e.g. for use in turbine-generator units) shall meet the requirements for at least failure load stage 8 as in DIN ISO 14635-1. 23、rbine oil complies with the requirements of this standard, taking into account all results obtained when testing in accordance with the test standards listed in the penultimate column of Table 1.
