Attention i

The DIN 4000-163-5 tabular layout of product properties applies to rivets covered in this standard. Amendments T

6、his standard differs from DIN 660:1993-05 as follows: a) normative references have been updated; b) the designation has been changed; c) equations for calculating head and shank masses have been included; d) the figures have been updated; e) in Table 1 the range of mass values has been extended and

7、some of those values have been changed. Compared with DIN 660:2011-03 the following corrections have been made: a) Figures 2 and 3 have been corrected; b) in Table 1 dimensions k, r and r1have been corrected in compliance with DIN 660:1993-05; c) in Figure 2 d1has been substituted for d3; d) the val

8、ues of d8and k1 given in Table 5 are now to be understood as guideline values; e) the reference to the standard covering the relevant tabular layout of product properties has been rendered more precise. 32、DIN 660 4 20 St 6 Application Table 5 specifies hole diameters and gives guideline values for upset head dimensions and maximum grip lengths of both round head (A) (see Figure 2) and countersunk head (B) (see Figure 3) rivets. The grip lengths specified in Table 5 are for guidance only. Trial riveti

33、ng is recommended, especially in the case of series production.
