10、ls EN 60068 als Europische Norm durch CENELEC bernommen und als DIN EN 60068 ins Deutsche Normenwerk aufgenommen. Das Prsidium des DIN hat mit Prsidialbeschluss 1/2004 festgelegt, dass DIN-Normen, deren Inhalt sich auf internationale Arbeitsergebnisse der Informationsverarbeitung grndet, unter besti

11、mmten Bedingungen allein in englischer Sprache verffentlicht werden drfen. Diese Bedingungen sind fr die vorliegende Norm erfllt. Da sich die Benutzer der vorliegenden Norm der englischen Sprache als Fachsprache bedienen, wird die englische Fassung der IEC 62729 verffentlicht. Fr die meisten der ver

12、wendeten Begriffe existieren keine gebruchlichen deutschen Benennungen, da sich die deutschen Anwender in der Regel ebenfalls der englischen Benennungen bedienen. Diese Norm steht nicht in unmittelbarem Zusammenhang mit Rechtsvorschriften und ist nicht als Sicherheitsnorm anzusehen. Diese Norm legt

13、die technischen Kennwerte und Prfverfahren fr Bordgerte zur Identifizierung und Verfolgung ber groe Entfernungen (LRIT) fest. Sie beschreibt Anforderungen der International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea“ (SOLAS), die durch International Maritime Organization“ (IMO) bernommen wurden. Die Norm

14、bercksichtigt die generellen Anforderungen der IMO-Resolution A.694(17) und ist mit EN 60945 verknpft. Im Falle der Festlegung von abweichenden Anforderungen in der EN 60945 gilt die vorliegende DIN EN 62729. Bordgerte zur Identifizierung und Verfolgung ber groe Entfernungen zeigen Konformitt mit SO

15、LAS V/19-1.6, wenn sie nach diesem Norm-Entwurf getestet wurden und die Anforderungen erfllen. 37、l Standard IEC 62729 specifies the performance requirements and methods of testing for shipborne equipment for use for long-range identification and tracking (LRIT). Long-range identification and tracking of ships is a requirement of regulation V/19-1 of SOLAS 1974 as amended. An introduction to the

38、 system is given in Annex A. The standard results from observations made at the IMO meeting of MSC 88 in November 2010 that some LRIT equipment in practice was not operating in accordance with the provisions of SOLAS and the IMO performance standards. The standard takes account of the general requir

39、ements given in IMO resolution A.694(17) and is associated with IEC 60945. When a requirement in this International Standard is different from IEC 60945, the requirement in this standard takes precedence. This standard incorporates the parts of the performance standards included in IMO resolution MS

40、C.263(84), Revised performance standards and functional requirements for the long-range identification and tracking of ships. Equipment tested to this standard will demonstrate compliance with the SOLAS regulation as indicated below and the test results will assist Administrations in granting type a

41、pproval: (SOLAS V/19-1.6) Systems and equipment used to meet the requirements of this regulation shall conform to performance standards and functional requirements not inferior to those adopted by the IMO. Any shipboard equipment shall be type approved by the Administration. Shipboard installations

42、are not covered by this standard but matters relating to the installation of the shipboard equipment are reproduced in Annex B. The IMO conformance test of shipborne installations is not covered by this standard but details are given, for information, in Annex C. NOTE All text of this standard, whos
