5、word International technical regulation pertaining to indoor air This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 146 “Air quality”, Subcommittee SC 6 “Indoor air”, Working Group WG 10 “Fungi” (Convenership and Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its prep

6、aration was the Kommission Reinhaltung der Luft (KRdL) im VDI und DIN Normenausschuss (Commission on Air Pollution Prevention of VDI and DIN Standards Committee), Joint Committee NA 134-03-07 AA Bioaerosole und biologische Agenzien. The sampling strategy described in this standard is based on VDI 43

7、00 Part 10. Thus, this strategy is not only widely used in Germany, but throughout the world. This means that those using this strategy do not need to modify their procedures and previous results do not need to be converted, which could be difficult and would lead to errors. The measurement strategy

8、 described in VDI 4300 Part 10 is identical to that described here, except for references to German laws and regulations. Sampling, which together with cultivation forms part of the overall measurement procedure, is described in DIN ISO 16000-16 (filtration method) and in DIN ISO 16000-18 (impaction

9、 method). The cultivation method is specified in ISO 16000-17. These three methods are also based on VDI Guidelines, namely VDI 4252 Part 2 and VDI 4253 Part 2, which deal with air measurement and were validated in extensive comparative studies, and also VDI 4300 Part 10. General and substance-speci

10、fic aspects which should be taken into account before or during measurements, as well as methods for determining individual substances or substance groups, and microorganisms in indoor air are described in the various parts of ISO 16000. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the element

11、s of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. 12、DIN ISO 16000-18 National technical regulation pertaining to indoor air The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has published recommendations for carrying the health risk assessment of mould growth in indoor environments (see 1 National Annex NA “Bibliography”). General conditions and other aspects to be ta

13、ken into consideration when planning indoor air measurements are described for individual substances and substance groups in the VDI 4300 series (see also “National Annex NA”). Some of these served as the sole basis for parts of the ISO 16000 series (e.g. ISO 16000-1, ISO 16000-2, ISO 16000-5, ISO 1

14、6000-7, ISO 16000-12, ISO 16000-15, ISO 16000-16, ISO 16000-17, ISO 16000-18, ISO 16000-26 and ISO 16000-32). The specific procedures (sampling, analysis) are described in the VDI 4301 series for individual substances and substance groups. Methods which can be used for both indoor and ambient air me

15、asurements are described in further VDI Guidelines. In practice, sampling by impaction is the preferred procedure for short-term sampling. This sampling method requires a prior estimate of the ex

48、pected mould concentration. Different air volumes are sampled at each sampling location to be able to cover a broader concentration range. This is accomplished by collecting impaction samples over different sampling durations. The detection of indoor-relevant moulds presupposes that particles with a

49、 diameter greater than 2 m can be quantitatively collected on the culture medium or adhesive-coated slide (for the determination of the total spore count). This presupposes that the impactors are designed for a cut-off d50 2 m (see Table B.2). All short-term measurements should be conducted over a minimum period of 1 min.
