This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 127 “Earth-moving machinery” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 151 “Construction equipment and building material machines Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). Representatives of manufacturers and users of earth-moving machinery, and of the employers liability insurance associations

This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to

7、 facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that Directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machin

8、ery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). For the International Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of this standard there are no national standards available unless they have been published as DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. 26、SO 2867:2011 (E) DIN EN ISO 2867:2011-11 3Introduction The structure of safety standards in the field of machinery is as follows. a) Type-A standards (basic standards) give basic concepts, principles for design and general aspects that can be applied to machinery. b) Type-B standards (generic safety

27、 standards) deal with one safety aspect or one type of safeguard that can be used across a wide range of machinery: type-B1 standards on particular safety aspects (e.g. safety distances, surface temperature, noise); type-B2 standards on safeguards (e.g. two-hand controls, interlocking devices, press

28、ure-sensitive devices, guards). c) Type-C standards (machinery safety standards) dealing with detailed safety requirements for a particular machine or group of machines. This document is a type-C standard as stated in ISO 12100. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situ

29、ations or hazardous events are covered are indicated in the Scope of this document. When requirements of this type-C standard are different from those which are stated in type-A or B standards, the requirements of this type-C standard take precedence over the requirements of the other standards for

30、machines that have been designed and built according to the requirements of this type-C standard. NOTE ISO 14122 is a series of type-B standards that provides general requirements for access to stationary and mobile machines and that can be used as a general reference for the design of access system

31、s for earth-moving machines. EN ISO 2867:2011 (E) DIN EN ISO 2867:2011-11 41 Scope This International Standard specifies criteria for systems that provide access to the operator station and to routine maintenance points on earth-moving machinery as defined in ISO 6165. It is applicable to the access

32、 systems (e.g. enclosure openings, platforms, guardrails, handrails and handholds, stairways and steps, ladders) on such machines parked in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Its criteria are based on the 5th to 95th percentile operator dimensions as defined in ISO 3411. It deals with t

33、he following significant hazards, hazardous situations and events: slip, trip and fall of persons, unhealthy postures and excessive effort. The general principles set out in this International Standard can be used for the selection of fixed and/or portable access systems for repairs, assembly, disas
