、4:2013-03 4 1 Scope This document is intended to provide users of DIN EN ISO 7500-1 with guidelines for taking the uncertainty of measurement into account when classifying materials testing machines. 2 Taking measurement uncertainty into account when classifying materials testing machines DIN EN ISO
、/IEC 17025 and the DAkkS-DKD-5 Guideline state that conformity can only be assumed if measurement uncertainty has been taken into account. One practical means of taking uncertainty into account without lowering the maximum permissible values for the relative accuracy errors specified in DIN EN ISO 7
、500-1 is to use the criteria in Table 1 for permissible limit values for uncertainty as defined by DINs Working Committee NA 062-08-11 AA. This will ensure that uncertainty is not considered twice in the classification. Thus, the values given in Table 1 of this Supplement can be used in addition to
、the characteristic values laid down in Table 2 of DIN EN ISO 7500-1:2004-11. The values given in Table 1 below are based on experience gained in calibrations carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7500-1. Table 1 Limit values for measurement uncertainty Class of machine range Limit values for exp
、anded uncertainty % 0,5 0,3 1 0,5 2 1,1 3 1,6 Aside from this possibility, it is also possible to classify the machines using only the limit values given in DIN EN ISO 7500-1:2004-11, Table 2, while at the same time taking measurement uncertainty into consideration, or to use the current frequently
、practised method of using DIN EN ISO 7500-1:2004-11, Table 2, for classification purposes both taking uncertainty into account and without taking uncertainty into account and then providing the user with both classification results. NOTE As regards the relatively high limit values given in Table 1 here, it should be noted that in calculating the uncertainty U, the repeatability and the resolution of the machine used for calibration also make a large contribution to uncertainty. The measurement uncertainty for the machine used for calibration is considerably lower.
