11、he previously valid standard, EN ISO 9902-7:2001, in terms of the essential requirements of the new European Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, effective from
12、 29 December 2009, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA.
