This commercial item description covers double valve faucets for kitchen sinks a
2、nd lavatories. Salient characteristics: Faucets shall be for installation on a horizontal or vertical surface, as specified. Except for minimum discharge capacity requirements and certification requirements for toxicity, the faucets Nonmetallic materials in contact with potable water shall conform t
3、o the “potable water applications“ Maximum flow rate shall be not more than 3.0 /min at 20 thru 80 psi flowing pressure. The faucet body shall be brass. Faucet, escutcheons, and flanges shall be bright chrome plated. The faucet shall have a swing spout with aerator outlet. Horizontal surface mounted
4、 faucets shall have H-inch external pipe threads with coupling nuts for supply shall conform to ANSI A 112.18.1. requirements of NSF Std. No. 14. connection. Vertical surface mounted faucets shall have h-inch internal pipe threads for supply connection. inlets shall be 8 inches center to center. Wor
5、kmanshie. All welds shall be clean and free of blowholes. Ail surfaces shall be free of sharp burrs, slivers, pits, ridges, or checks. NI chrome plated surfaces shall be free of visible peeling, blistering, or any uncoated surfaces. Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offere
6、d meets the salient characteristics of this description and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices and is the same product as the product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to
7、require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. , Recovered materials. The manufacturer shall utilize recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable. Packaging, packing, and marking. Each faucet sh
8、all be packaged in accordance with normal commercial practice and packed to assure acceptance by common carrier and provide product protection against loss and damage during multiple shipments, handling, and storage. The shipping containers shall be in compliance with the National Motor Freight Clas
9、sification and Uniform Freight Classification. Marking shsll be as specified in the contract or order.
