SCOPE. This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers gasoline engine powered concr
2、ete fishing machine intended for making a rough and finished surface fi-om a freshly poured concrete slab. 2. SKIENT CHARACTERISTICS. 2.1 Standard commercial txoduct. The machine shall, as a minimum, be in accordance with the requirements of this CID, and shall be the manufacturers standard commerci
3、al product. Additional or better features which are not specifically prohibited by this specification, but which are a part of the manufacturers commercial product, shall be included in the unit being frnished. A standard commercial product is a product which has been sold, or is being currently off
4、ered for sale on the commercial market, through advertisements or manufacturers catalogs, or brochures, and represents the latest production model. 2.2 Gasoline enine. The gasoline engine shall be air-cooled, 4-cycle7 recoil start with the minimum engine horsepower as specified (see 6.1). 2.3 Ooerat
5、ing handle. The operating handle bar shall be adjustable. The stop switch, throttle, and blade pitch adjusting handle shall be easily reachable fi-om the operators position. 7、 47T A-A-50564 2.4 Spider. The spider shall be aluminum alloy, cast iron or steel, four-arm, and with variable speed trowel rotor. With the blades attached, the operating diameter shall be not less than 36 inches or 915 millimeters (mm). 2.5 Blades. The machine shall be fimished with three types of
8、abrasion-resistant-steel blades listed as follows: a. One (1) set clamp-on float blade, 10-inch by 14 -inch (254 mm by 355 mm). b. One (1) set finish blade, 6-inch by 14-inch (152 mm by 355 mm). c. Three (3) sets combination float and finish blade, 10-inch by 14-inch - (254 mm by 355 mm). 2.6 Tolera
9、nces. Dimensions shown herein shall have tolerances not to exceed It: 1/16-inch (1.58 2.7 Metric products. Products manufactured to metric dimensions will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, providing they fall within the tolerances specified and all other

If a product is manufactured to metric dimensions and those dimensions exceed the tolerances specified in the inch-pound units, a request should be made to the specification preparing activity for changes in the document. 3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 Recove
11、red materials. The offeror/contractor is encourageto use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISION. 4.1 Contractor certification. The contractor shall certifj, and maintain su
12、bstantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this CID, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and is the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The governmen
13、t reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 5.
