A commercial-type label is acceptable, provided thatan additional printed cloth label containing the contractorsname, contract number, size and National Stock Number (NSN) iscaught on the stitching of the commercial label. 11、abel shall include fiber and laundering information. (see ASTM D3951.)3.3 Label/tag. Each item shall be individually bar-coded with apaper tag for personal clothing items. The paper tag shall bestandard bleached sulfate having a basis weight of 100 pounds.The paper used for the tags shall have a smo
12、oth finish to acceptthermal transfer and direct printing. The tags shall have a holeand shall be attached to each item by a fastener, clearly legibleand readable by a scanner. The bar coding element shall be a 13digit national stock number (NSN). The bar code type shall be amedium to high code densi

15、e products provided shall meet thesalient characteristics of this commercial item description andshall conform to the producers own drawings, specifications,standards, and quality assurance practices. The Governmentreserves the right to require proof of such conformance.5.2 Visual examination. Each
16、glove shall be examined for thedefects listed below.Defects. Any hole, cut, or tear; color not as specified; anypart shaded; any spot or stain (outside); raw edges, open seams,thread ends not removed, or loose tension resulting in looseseams; any material defects, distorted parts or poor workmanship
17、;any component part omitted; label missing, incorrect, orillegible; measurement of item not as specified; bar code omittedor not readable by scanner; human-readable interpretation (HRI)omitted or illegible; bar code not visible on folded, packageditem; bar code causes damage to the item; any items n
