2、 19734 for all Federal agencies. 1. SCOPE. This document covers two classes of sword carriers intended for carrying the sword and scabbard used by Marine Corps personnel. 2. CLASSIFICATION. The carriers shad be in the following classes: Class 1 - Carrier, Sword, Dress, White Class 2 - Carrier, Swor
3、d, Service, Black 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 3.1 Description Carriers shall be in accordance with Figure 1 in order to insure interface with the sword scabbard. The fiont ply of the carrier shall have a slit for insertion of the sword scabbard. There shall be an opening at the bottom end of the carr
4、ier for the sword scabbard and a loop opening at the top for attaching the carrier to a belt. The carrier shall be 8-314 2 1/8 inches in length and 4-3/4 _+ 1/8 inches in width at the widest point.
