This drawing describes the requirements for paper (or paper-plastic) dielectric capacitors. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN) The complete PIN is as follows: 88028 -XX Drawing number Dash number (see table I) 2. 6、 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Interface and physical dimensions. The interface and physical dimensions shall be as specified herein (see figure 1 and table I). 3.1.1 Termination blades. See figure 1. 3.1.2 Case material. Aluminum. 3.1.3 Operating temperature range. The operating temperature range shall be -4
7、0C to +75C. 3.1.4 Storage temperature. -55C to +90C. 3.2 Electrical characteristics. The electrical characteristics shall be as follows. 3.2.1 Dielectric type. Paper or paper-plastic. 3.2.2 Rated voltage. See table I. 3.2.3 Ripple voltage. The ripple voltage should not exceed the following percentag

Marking shall be as specified in 1.2 with the manufacturers name or CAGE code. 3.4 Recycled, recovered, or environ
13、mentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.5 Certificate
14、 of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be a suggested source of supply. 3.6 Workmanship. Capacitors shall be free of burrs and sharp edges (see 4.1.2). 4. VERIFICATION 4.1 Conformance inspection. 4.1.1 Inspection of product for delivery. Inspec
15、tion of product for delivery shall consist of the group A inspection. 4.1.1.1 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall consist of the inspections specified in table II in the order shown. 4.1.2 Criteria for defectives. All dimensional characteristics are considered defective when out of toleranc
16、e. All physical and functional properties are considered defective when outside the specified minimum, maximum, or range as applicable. All workmanship characteristics are considered defective when they would be detrimental to the intended use, performance requirements, or environmental survival. 4.
17、1.3 Capacitance (see 3.2.4). Unmounted capacitors shall be tested as follows: a. Test frequency: 60 Hz 10 Hz. b. Test voltage: 50 - 70 volts rms. 4.1.4 Dissipation factor (see 3.2.5). Dissipation factor shall be measured with a bridge or other suitable equipment at the frequency and voltage specifie

When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packa
23、ging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Milita
24、ry Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6. NOTES (This section contains information of a general or explanatory nature which may be helpful, but is not mandatory.) 6.1 Intended use. Capacitors conforming to th
25、is drawing are intended for use when military specifications do not exist and qualified military devices that will perform the required function are not available for OEM application. This drawing is intended exclusively to prevent the proliferation of unnecessary duplicate specifications, drawings,

When a military specification exists and the product covered by this drawing has been qualified for listing, this drawing becomes obsolete and will not be used for new design. 6.2 Ordering data.
