The individual item requirements shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342 and as specified herein. 3.2 Interface and physical dimensions. The resistor shall meet t
16、he interface and physical dimensions as specified in MIL-PRF-55342 and herein (see figure 1). 3.3 Electrical characteristics. 3.3.1 Power rating. The rated power shall be 10 watts from -55C to +100C. For operation at temperatures higher than 100C derate in accordance with figure 2. 3.3.2 Resistance
17、values. The resistance shall be 50 ohms. 3.3.3 Resistance tolerance. The resistance tolerance shall be 5 percent. 3.3.4 Frequency. The frequency range shall be from dc to 4 GHz. 3.3.5 Voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). The VSWR shall be 1.35:1. 3.3.6 Temperature range. The temperature range shall b
18、e from -55C to +150C. 3.3.7 DC resistance. When resistors are tested as specified in 4.6, the dc resistance shall be within the specified tolerance of the nominal resistance. 3.3.8 Thermal shock. When resistors are tested as specified in 4.7, there shall be no evidence of mechanical damage; the resi
19、stance shall be within the specified initial resistance tolerance of the nominal resistance. 3.3.9 Power conditioning. When resistors are tested in accordance with 4.8, the resistance shall be within the specified initial resistance tolerance of the nominal resistance. There shall be no evidence of
20、mechanical damage. 3.3.10 Die shear strength test. When tested in accordance with 4.9, shall meet the criteria for termination adhesion in the test method. 3.3.11 Solderability. When resistors are tested as specified in 4.10, they shall meet the criteria for surface mount leadless components in the

24、 Substrate: Beryllium. b. Cover: Alumina ceramic. c. Mounting flange: Copper, nickel plated as specified in SAE ASM-QQ-N-290. d. Tab: Beryllium copper, gold plated as specified in SAE ASM 2422. The tabs shall meet the solderability test of MIL-STD-202, method 208. 3.5 Marking. Marking is not require
25、d on the resistor; however each unit package shall be marked with the PIN assigned (see 1.2), manufacturers identification code, and date and lot codes. Manufacturers which use beryllium oxide in their construction shall mark each resistor package with the symbol “BeO”. 3.6 Recycled, recovered, or e
26、nvironmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.7 Certi
27、ficate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be a suggested source of supply. 3.8 Workmanship. The following details and exceptions shall apply: a. Test temperature: 100C defined as the maximum flange temperature with the resisto
37、r mounted on a heat sink. b. Voltage: 22.36 V dc. c. Duration of test: 96 hours. d. DC resistance shall be measured before and after completion of tests and meet the requirements of 3.3.7. 4.9 Die shear strength test. The resistors shall be tested in accordance with method 2019.2 of MIL-STD-883, exc
38、ept the attachment strength shall be 5 Kg minimum. 4.10 Solderability. Solderability shall be tested in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel
39、 is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agenc
40、y, or within the military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6.
