The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this detail specification sheet and MIL-DTL-17376. INTENDED USE: 1. The flanges covered by this specification sheet are inte
3、nded to provide anchorage for a cylinder protective cap to the shoulder of a cylinder. The flanges are attached to the cylinder by welding of similar metals and are for low pressure application. The flange provides inlet valve threads for cylinder valves and when required, threaded holes for cylinde
4、r safety devices for acetylene. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Flange: The compressed-gas cylinder low pressure flange shall be as specified herein and in accordance with figures 1 and 2. Figures 1 and 2 are a representative configuration and method of attaching flanges to cylinders and may be varied provided dim
5、ensions of threaded portions are as shown. 2. Material: The steel used shall have a carbon content not greater than 0.25 percent, or shall be composition G41000 of SAE J402, “(R) New Steel Designation System for Wrought or Rolled Steel”.
