Construction: Universal expansion joint shall be constructed of two bellows joined by a common connector for the purpose of absorbing any combination of the three basic movements
7、 i.e., axial movement, lateral deflection, and angular rotation. Universal expansion joints shall not be anchored at its common section. The classification of the expansion joints covered under this specification sheet are as follows: Type I - shall have corrugated bellows. Class 5 - shall be unive
8、rsal. Materials and finishes. Materials and finishes for the bellows and flanges shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17813. The Part or Identifying Number (PIN) consists of the letters M, the basic specification number, specification sheet number, size, type, class, pressure rating, and end connecti
