2、 Bandage of Interim Federal Specification DUD-B-0035C (GSA-FSS) dated 30 December 1971 This Commercial Item Description covers a. sterile adhesive bandage, suitable for use on minor abrasions, cuts or wounds. Salient Characteristics: The bandage shall be a sterile individual bandage, sujtable Cor us
3、e on minor abrasions, cuts or wounds. The adhesive strip shall be a plastic film, noniinally 3 inches Jong, flesh colored or clear. The a.dhecive strip ska3.1 be perforated where the compress is attached, with perforations of the same size, frequency and spacing pattern; the remainder of tire adhesi
4、ve strip may be similarly perforated. The corners or ends of the adhesive strip shall be rounded. The adhesive strip shall have a minimum breaking strength of 3.5 pounds per inch after perforating, when teated in accordance with Federal Test Method Standard No. 19J., Method 5102, except the specimen
5、 shall be the adhesive bandage full length with the facing material peeled off. The adhesive strip when applied to the skin shall adhere firmly. The size of each bandage and its compress shall be as specified in Table I, with the additional requirements that the conpress shall be centrally affixed t

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requ
16、irements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own OL any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to per
17、form any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deensecl necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Records. Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and nade av
18、ailable to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, during the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery of the supplies to which such records relate. Inspection. Inspection, as used herein, is defined as both examination (such
19、as visual or auditory investigation w thout the use of special laboratory appliances or procedures) and testing (deteiminatian by technical means of physical and chemica properties) of the item. Testing and examination shall be conducted to determine compliance with all specif icatj.or-i requirement
20、s. Test methods shall be suitable, accurate, and reproducible. Samplinq for examination. Sampling for examination shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and as specified herein. The unit of product for examination shall beone adhesive bandage. Unless otherwise specified, sampling for exam
21、ination shall be conducted at inspection level II, AQL 2.5 maximum percent defective. will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, providing they fall within the tolerances specified using conversion tables contained in the latest revision of Federal Standard
22、No. 376, and all other requirements of this document are met.
