24、orrosive gas. Otherpaintsorpaintsystemsarenotexcludedprovidedtheycomplywiththerequirementsgiveninthisstandard. Thecoatingconsistofonelayerofliquidproduct,normallyshopappliedontoabrasiveblastcleanedsteelby airlesssprayorconventionalspraytechniques.Brushapplicationmaybeusedonlyforrepairs. Thecoatingqu

25、alifiedinaccordancewiththisstandardisconsideredsuitableforoperatingtemperaturesbetween 20Cand+110C. 35、ngmaterial 4.1General Thecoatingmaterialisgenerallycomposedoftwopacks:baseandhardener. Thecoatingmaterialshallnotcontainanysubstancesthatwillbereleasedfromthepaintfilmafteritiscuredand areproventobedetrimentaltotheoperationsofthepipeline. Thecoatingmaterialshallbequalifiedinaccordancewith4.2andshall

36、notbechangedafterqualification. Theappliedandcuredpaintfilmshallbesmoothtoobtainareductioninthefriction. Unlessotherwiseagreed,theappliedcoatingshouldprovideacorrosionprotectionduringstorageandtransportfor aperiodofoneyearwithoutsignificantbreakdownofthepaintfilm. 4.2Qualificationofcoatingmaterials

37、4.2.1General Thissubclausedescribesthelaboratorytestsrequiredforqualificationofcoatingmaterialsbythecoatingmaterial manufacturer.EN10301:2003(E) 7 ThepropertiesrequiredforqualificationofthecoatingaregiveninTable1andthetestsreportedshallbecarried outoncoatingmaterialandtestpanels(steelpanels)that,unl

38、essotherwisespecified,havebeenpreparedand coatedaccordingtoENISO1513andENISO1514andtherequirementsofthecoatingmaterialmanufacturer. Thedryfilmthicknessofthecoatingonthepanelsshallbemeasuredinaccordancewith4.2.8. Coatingappliedtoglassandsteelpanelsshallbeconditionedinaccordancewithoneofthefollowingcy
