22、isEuropeanStandarddefinestheinternaland/orexternalpolyamidepowdercoatingsappliedbydippingina fluidisedbedorbyspraying,orbyrotocoating.Thesecoatingsareintendedfortheprotectiontheinnerandouter surfacesofsteeltubesandtheirfittings(components)usedascomponentpartsofpipelines.Thisstandardmay alsobeapplied

23、foraccessories,suchasvalves,pumps,screens,etc. Thistypeofcoatingisusedfortheprotectionofburied,submergedorabovegroundpipelinesconveyingfluidsat workingtemperaturesbetween0Cand+60C.Otherworkingservicetemperaturescanbeusedafteragreement betweenthepurchaserandthecoater. Thecoatingscoveredbythisstandard

24、areapplicabletolongitudinallyorspirallyweldedsteeltubesandto seamlesssteeltubesandtheirfittingscomponentsusedfortheconstructionofpipelinesconveyingliquids. Theinternalcoatingoftubestobeusedforthetransportationofwaterintendedforhumanconsumptionshouldnot affectthequalityofthatwatertosuchanextentthatit

25、failstocomplywiththerequirementsoftheEUandEFTA regulations. Forthispurpose,referenceshouldbemadetotherelevantnationalregulationsandstandards,transposingEN standardswhenavailable,dealingwiththeinfluenceofmaterialsonwaterqualityandtotherequirementsfor coatings. NOTE AEuropeanAcceptanceScheme(EAS)isinc

38、optionsmaybespecifiedbythepurchaser: cutbacklength; chemicaltreatment; typeandlocationofthemarking; maximumareaandnumberofrepairs; maximumthicknessofthecoating. 6 Descriptionofthecoating Thecoatingsystemshallconsistofaprimerfilmovercoatedwithalayerofafullyfusedpolyamidepowdercoating. 7 Applicationof

39、thecoating Thepolyamidecoatingshallbeappliedbydippinginafluidisedbed,sprayingorrotocoatingaccordingto establishedproceduresandtherecommendationsofthecoatingmanufacturer. ThedatasheetsofthecoatingmanufacturershallcontaintheitemsrequiredinTable1. 7.1Surfacepreparation 7.1.1 Alltubesandcomponentsshallb

40、eabrasiveblastcleaned.Thedegreeofcleanlinessshallbeatleast Sa2 1/2 asdefinedinENISO85011 . 7.1.2 Priortoabrasiveblastcleaning,thesteelsurfaceshallbedryandfreefromcontamination(oil,grease, temporarycorrosionprotection,etc.)andsurfacedefects(slivers,laminations,etc.)detrimentaltothesurfaceorto theadhe

41、sionofthecoating. Theblastcleanedsurfaceshallhavearoughness R z between40mand90m,whenmeasuredaccordingto ENISO4287. 7.1.3 Afterabrasiveblastcleaning,thesurfaceofthetubeorcomponentshallbeinspectedandanyslivers, laminations,weldspotsandothersurfaceimperfectionsthatmayhavebecomevisibleshallberemovedusi

42、ng suitablemethod Afterremovalofthesedefects,theresidualthicknessoftubesandcomponentsshallsatisfytheminimumtolerance requirementsspecifiedbytherelevantstandard.Alltreatedareasgreaterthan10cm 2 shallbepreparedtoprovide aprofiletosatisfytheprovisionsof7.1.2. 7.1.4 Priortotheapplicationofthecoating,the
