17、vely,withincreasingtemperature,thetemperatureatwhichfailureoccurs. 5Safety Personsusingthisstandardshallbefamiliarwithnormallaboratorypractice. Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse. Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesandtoen
18、surecompliancewithany Europeanornationalregulatoryconditions. 6 Preparationoftestspecimens Testspecimensshallbesingleoverlappedjointsusingadherendscapableofwithstandingtheexpectedshear force. Theadherendsshallbeidenticalunlessthetestiscarriedouttoverifycompliancewithaspecificationwhich requiresadher
19、endsofdifferentmaterials.Theadherendsshallbefullydescribedinthetestreport. A signifiantsampleoftheadhesiveshallbetakeninaccordancewith ENISO15605 andpreparedfortestingin accordancewithEN1067. Theadhesiveshallbeappliedtooneorbothoftheadherendsbythemethodrecommendedbytheadhesive manufacturer.Theapplic

21、fsufficientwidthtocutaminimumofthreetest specimenseach25mmwideatrightanglestotheoverlapwithoutusingtheedgeareas.Itisadvisabletoprepare morethanthreetestspecimens. Inordertogiveanuniformdistributionofpressureoverthebondedareatheplatensofthepressshallbeparallel butwherethisisimpracticable,oneplatencanb

Atleastthreetestspecimensshallbetested,unlessadifferentnumberisspecified. 7Conditioning Theadherendsshallbestoredunderstandardconditionsoftemperatureandhumidityforatleast24h. Thetestspecimensshallbestoredunderthesameconditionsforatleast24hbeforebeingtested. Unlessotherwise
24、specifiedtherecommendedconditionsareatemperatureof(23 2)Cand(50 5)%relative humidityaccordingtoISO291. 8Procedure 8.1 Constanttemperature Choosethetestconditions(temperatureandrelativehumidity). Hang thetestspecimenfromoneendinaverticalplaneandaloadof 1 kg attachedtothelowerendofthetest specimeninsu
25、chawayastoavoiddistorsionofthetestspecimenandtoallowanevendistributionoftheload overtheentirebondedarea.Recordthetimeafterwhichthebondisbroken.Ifnobondfailureoccurswithinfive days,thetestshallberepeatedusinganincreasedload,forexample, 1,5 kg .
