ThisEuropeanStandardconcernsatestmethodagainstblastwavesinopenairresultingfromhighexplosivesthat canbecarriedbyhandandplacedafewmetresfro
19、matarget.Atsuchclosedistancesblastvaluesvaryacrossan attackface.Controlledmeasurementoftheactualblastonthefaceofthetestspecimen beingdifficult,costlyand subjecttoinaccuracy,consistencyoftheblastforcesistherefore controlledinthisEuropeanStandardbythe characteristicsoftheexplosivechargeanditslocation(
20、seeannexAandannexB). ThisEuropeanStandardcoversonlythebehaviourofthecompleteunitincludinginfill,frameandfixingsastested. Itshall a) besufficientlystrongtoresisttheblastforceswithoutdeformationandwithoutimpartingdeformationstothe testspecimen, b) al
29、lowthetestspecimentobefixedinamannerrepresentativeofitsasbuiltconditionwithoutimposing abnormalstresses, c) preventpassageofblastpressuretotherearfaceofthetestspecimenotherthanthroughdeformationorby designintention, d) acceptmountingofpressuregaugeswhererequired, e) provideaminimumof200mmperimeterst

31、ticsshallbemeasured: a) ambientairtemperature; b) ambientairpressure; c) surfacetemperatureofthetestspecimen; d)relative humidity; e) peakpressureanddurationifrequested. 6 Testspecimen Thetestspecimenshallberepresentativeoftherelevantwindow,doororshutter(seeclause11).Theapplicant shallsupplydrawings
32、showingalldetailsofthetestspecimentoscaletogetherwithdescriptionandcompositionof allmaterialsincludinginfills,fixingsetc. Thetestspecimensizeandmethodoffixingtothetestspecimensupportshallbeagreedbetweenthetest laboratoryandtheapplicant.Theattackfaceshallbeclearlymarked.Themethodoffixingusedtoconnect
33、thetest specimentothetestspecimensupportshallberepresentativeoftheactualmethodoffixingemployedinthe courseofinstallingthewindow,doororshutter(see7.1e). Afterthetest,attherequestoftheapplicant,thetestlaboratoryshallreturnthetestspecimen,adequatelyand indeliblymarkedforretention. 7Procedure 7.1Install
34、ation Installthetestspecimeninthetestspecimensupportatasillheightofnotmorethan800mmensuringthat a) thealignment/relationshipbetweenallcomponentsiscorrect, b) thefixingsdonotcreateabnormalstressesinthetestspecimen, c) noopeningexistsbetween/aroundthetestspecimensupport, d) thehardware,mechanisms,mova
35、blesashesanddoorleavesareoperable, e) themethodoffixingandtype/quantityoffixingsusedareidenticalinallrespectstotheintendedapplication, f) allmeasurementdevicesarecheckedsoastoverifytheircorrectcalibration. 7.2 ExplosionpressureresistanceRangetest(EXR) Thetestshallgenerateablastwavestrikingtheattackf
36、aceofthetestspecimen.Theblastwaveisgeneratedfrom thedetonationofaspecifiedhighexplosivechargeataspecifiedstandofffromthetestspecimen.Theexplosive chargeisdescribedinannexA. ThequantityandstandoffdistanceshallbeinaccordancewithEN131232.EN131242:2004(E) 7 8 Sequenceoftest Thefollowingstepsshallbetaken
37、: a) takemeasurementstoverifythatthetestspecimendimensions,includinginfills,areinaccordancewiththe drawingssuppliedbytheapplicant; b) installthetestspecimeninaccordancewith7.1; c) checkthatthefixingsarecorrectandthattheinfillsarecorrectlyinstalled; d) createaphotographicrecordofthetestspecimenasinst
38、alledinthetestspecimensupport.Wheredesiredset uphighspeedmotioncameras; e) recordtheambientconditionswithin30minofthetest; f) positiontherequiredchargeatthestandoffdistanceaccordingtotheresistanceclass; g) detonatetheexplosivecharge; h) thetestlaboratoryshallverifythatfullhighorderdetonationhastaken
39、place; i) examinethetestspecimenandrecordthelevelofphysicaldamage,includingpresenceorabsenceof splinters,visibleonthetestspecimenbyphotographorfilm.Awrittenrecordshallbecreatedwhichspecifies thelevelofdistortion,deflectionetc.evidentonthetestspecimen.Thisinformationwillformanintegralpartof thetestre
40、port. 9 Evaluationofresults 9.1 Thefollowingcriteriashallbeusedinevaluatingtheresultsofthetest. 9.2 EvaluatethetestinaccordancewiththerequirementsandclassificationinEN131232 ensuringthatthe followingtestcriteriaarefulfilled: a) noperforationoropeningthroughthetestspecimenisevidentafterthetestthrough
41、whichablunt10mm diameterrigidbarcanbegentlypassed; b) noopeningbetweenthetestspecimenframeandthetestspecimensupportisevidentafterthetestthrough whichablunt10mmdiameterrigidbarcanbegentlypassed; c) noperforationoropeningthroughthetestspecimenisevidentafterthetestcreatedbydetachmentorejection ofmateri
42、alfromthetestspecimen; d) nopartoftheframeorhardwareshallbeejectedfromtherearface; e) securityclosuresorlockingmechanismspreviouslysecurefromtheattackfaceshallremainsecure.Ifaccess throughthetestspecimencanbegainedthisshallbenotedinthetestreport; f) theabsenceorpresenceofsplintersejectedfromtherearf
