17、with Annex A and Annex B of EN 131 99-1 :2000. A.2 Test ballast The number of test bags of type A or B used for the base deflection test and the vibration test shall be as given in Table A.l. 19、ding the opening (.e. 18 drops): three impacts on each edge, including top edges (.e. 36 drops). A.4 Test on handling holes An empty SLC, fitted with the appropriate handling accessory, shall be lifted by four pins of 10 mm diameter, placed in the handling holes either on the sides or on the ends of
20、 the SLC, and placed in a compression or traction machine. The test shall be conducted on 2 SLCs. A stress equivalent to twice the nominal load shall be applied on the inner base of the SLC for 1 h and then released. An increasing stress shall then be applied until rupture or up to a value greater t
21、han five times the nominal load. 22、ll be designed so as to enable them to ,e grouped in palletized loads on modular sizes pallets 1 200 mm x 1 O00 mm and 1 200 mm x 800 rnm. SLCs grouped in palletized loads shall be chosen with regard to: -their height; -their load; -the load they will support when stacked; -the maximum height of the
23、 palletized load; -the total weight of the palletized load; -the weight of the accessories used. SLCs shall be chosen so as: -to form a flat upper level; - not to exceed the maximum authorized heights; - not to exceed the upper limit allowed for the loads gross weight. NOTE: The relationship between
24、 the heights of the SLCs enables mixed palletized loads to be formed, while retaining an upper level that is plane (for instance two 4312 SLCs are equivalent to one 4322 in height). Maximum load heights are specified in Annex C. Palletized loads in line with those heights shall not exceed the maximu
25、m authorized gross weights.
