25、3 Visualexaminationbeforetests Theexposedsurfacesshouldbeexaminedwiththenakedeye,fromadistanceofabout300mmforapproximately 10s,withoutanymagnifyingdevice,inalight(diffusedandnotdazzling)ofanintensityof700Luxto1000Lux. 4.4Requirements Duringexamination,theexposedsurfacesshouldnotshowanyofthedefectsde
26、scribedinTable1,withthe exceptionofslightyellowishorbluishmarks. 5 Qualityofcoating 5.1 Corrosionresistancetesttestwithneutralsalinespray 5.1.1General Thetestdescribedisatypetest(laboratorytest),andnotaqualitycontroltestcarriedoutduringmanufacture. 5.1.2Method Carryoutthetestundertheconditionsdescri
27、bedinISO9227specificallyforthe neutralsalinespraytest,inthe followingway. Subjectthepartiallydismantledtapwareanditsaccessoriestosprayingfor200hminimum,arrangingarestperiod of(481)hhalfwaythroughthetreatment,ieafterthefirst100h1hofspraying.Duringtherestperiod,maintain theheatofthetank. Fortheduratio
28、nofthetests,thetankshouldonlybeopenedtocheckandmaintaintheconditions,themaximum restperiodinsprayingbeing30minperday.Theheatingshouldnotbeinterrupted;samplesundertestshouldnot behandled,washedorchecked.EN248:2002(E) 6 Aftertreatmentandbeforevisualexamination,rinsethetestsamplesinwatertoremoveanysalt

Afterthetest,examinethesurfaceswiththenakedeye,forapproximately10s,fromadistanceofabout300mm, withoutanymagnifyingdevice. 5.1.3Requirements Aftercompletingthesaltspraytest,examinethetestsamplesintheconditionsspecifiedinENISO10289inthe followingway. Examinethesamplesinaccordancewith4.2and4.3
30、. Fromthisexamination,definetheareaAcoveredbydefects,asapercentageofthetotalareaofthetestpiece. ThissurfaceareaAshouldbelessthanorequalto0,1%(A 0,1%).Thedefectsshouldnotexceedadimension of0,3mm.(ForanexampleseeannexAanextractfromENISO10289:2001showingavisualrepresentationof thetypesoffaultwhichcorre
31、spondtothelimitof0,1%). 5.2 TestforcoatingadherenceTestforresistancetothermalshock 5.2.1General Thetestdescribedisatypetest(laboratorytest)andnotaqualitycontroltestcarriedoutduringmanufacture.It appliesonlytoplasticmaterialswithNiCrcoating. 5.2.2Method Thetestconsistsofsubjectingsamplestoaseriesofth
32、ermalshocks,wherebythenumberofcycles,temperatures anddurationsareindicatedinTable2.Forthedefinedcycles,thevectorforheatingandcoolingisair.Beforethe introductionofthesamples,allareasofthetestenvironmentshouldbeatthesettemperatureandwithinthe specifiedtolerancelevels.
