15、TC 197/SC 4 meeting on 1991-03-14 in Frankfurt. 18、nnel pumps with a nominal pressure of 40 bar. NOTE. Depending on special circumstances, e.g. temperature, materials, sealing of the shaft etc., excess operating pressure need not attain the value of the nominal pressure under any circumstances. 2 Definition For the purposes of this standard, the fol
19、lowing definition applies. 2.1 side channel pumps Liquid pumps which evacuate the inlet pipe and thereby automatically draw in the liquid to be pumped without the aid of ancillary equipment. They must be able to pump a liquid gas mixture with a gas content of at least 30 % at the suction nozzle, wit
20、h steady operation. Page 3 EN 734 : 1995 4 Hydrostatic pressure test Hydrostatic pressure test: internal pressure test using water. Hydrostatic test pressure shall be 1.3 times the maximum discharge pressure but shall not exceed 52 bar. The relation between cold test pressure and hot operating press
21、ure, or extreme cold operating pressure, shall be the subject of agreement between purchaser and manufacturer. 5 Designation Side channel pumps in accordance with this standard shall be designated as follows. The designation incorporates the type of pump, the number of the European Standard, the siz
22、e and number of stages. Emmple.
