SCOPE: This standard describes requirements and tests for motor starter assemblies and combination motor starters intended for general use throughout the F

2、ord Motor Company. 2. GENERAL: 2.1 Prior to placing starters on test as described in Section ll., the manufacturers line of starters shall be reviewed for compliance with the features and requirements outlined in this standard, 2.2 Motor starters shall be rated according to NEMA Standard ICS.2, Indu

3、strial Controls and Systems. The following ratings are for operation at 460 ac, 60 Hz., three-phase. Size 1 - Up to and including 10 horsepower. Size 2 - Above 10 but not exceeding 25 horsepower. 6、.5 Each supplier shall have available a complete range of starters rated according to NEMA Standard ICS, through and including size 3 (50 horsepower), and should have available similar designs through size 5 (200 horsepower). 2.6 Multiple starter assemblies, e.g., reversing and multi-speed types, sh

7、all have the required number of starters mounted to a common base plate with screws to allow individual contactor replacement. 2.7 Metal parts shall be non-corrosive or otherwise tinned, plated or treated to resist the effects of corrosion and oxidation. Current carrying parts in the power circuit s
