APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a material used for evaporative fuel lines. 3. REQUIREMENTS Ru
3、n all tests on molded parts. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CONSTRUCTION The tubing shall have a smooth bore made from synthetic rubber with sui
4、table gasoline, oil and ozone resistance. Either a single wall tubing or co-extruded tube and cover construction may be used. 3.2 VACUUM COLLAPSE Outside diameter shall be no less than 80% of original. Test Method: Subject tubing to a vacuum of 24 in Hg (81 kPa) while bent over a mandrel having a di
5、ameter 10 times the nominal O.D. Hold for 1 h at 102 +/- 3 C. 3.3 COLD FLEXIBILITY No cracks (ASTM D 746, 5 h at -40 C) 3.4 OZONE RATING 0 (FLTM BP 101-01) 3.5 HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE No cracks Test Method: Age a section of tubing, bent in a free loop until ends meet, in an oven at 149 C for 70
