If it is
9、not feasible to obtain samples from the part type I or III tensile bars may be used. Condition the specimen to -40 +/- 1 C for 4 h in cold chamber. Without removing from chamber, bend the specimens 180 over a temperature conditioned mandrel having a 3/4 in (19 mm) diameter. The bending shall be accomplished within 5 s.
