SCOPEThe pe rformance defined herein is fo

APPLICATIONThis s pecification was released originally for the use of pressuresensitive adhesive on existing materials applied to vertical surfaces.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to

3、 the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 CONDI

4、TIONINGAll test values indicated herein are based on materials conditionedin a co ntrolled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for 24 h prior to testing and tested under the samecontrolled conditions.3.3 BOND ADHESION, min(FLTM BV 1-5)Original 135 NAfter Cycle Aging 90 N(per par

6、 at 23 +/- 2 C4 h at -35 +/- 3 C and conduct sealer impact test at -35 C1 h at 23 +/- 2 C and conduct sealer impact test at roomtemperatureSample Preparation: Bond a 150 x 150 mm sample to a 300 x 300 mm Ecoated metal panel. Roll a 4.5 kg roller twice over the sample tocontrol the bonding procedure.

7、3.5 HEAT STABILITY No sagging at 177 +/- 5 CTest Method: A 150 x 1 50 mm sample on 300 x 300 mm metal panel (perpar a 3.4) sample preparation is held vertically in oven for 1 h at177 +/- 5 C.3.6 RELEASE LINER REMOVALTh e release liner shall be easily removable. 10、hall notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. The restrictions aredefined in Engineering Material Specification WS S-M99P9999-A1, unlessa different suffix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engineerin

12、gdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresp onsible Materials Engineering activity. Suppliers desiring approvalof thei r materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffec ted Purchasing, Design

13、and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity its own laboratory rep ort to the specification (test results, notnominal values), the material designation and code number, and testspecim ens for Ford evaluation. Upon approval, the material will be addedto the Engineering Material Approved Source List.
