SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an NLGI No. 2 grade of (ESB-M1C93-A) lithium grease with a polyethylene additive, which is reduced with a solvent (M-3
3、C19-A). 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for grease used to lubricate door hinges, torsion bars, hood and deck lid hinge pivot points. 3. 5、 at 104 +/- 2 C) 3.4 SPECIFIC GRAVITY 0.856 - 0.982 (at 15.6 C) 3.5 WATER RESISTANCE 3.5.1 The material, when applied to metal strips and solvent evaporated, shall withstand 168 h at 38 +/- 1 C in a 98 +/- 2% relative humidity atmosphere without breaking per FLTM BJ 107-03. 3.5.2 The material, when

7、TION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification 5.1 AGITATION The grease/solvent mixture should be agitated before and periodically during production applications in order to prevent settling of the grease. 5.2 MIXTURE The desired 35/65% grease/solvent ratio may be obtained by mixing 3.63 lb (1.65 kg) of ESB-M1C93-A grease, with 1 gal (3.79 L) of M-3C19-A solvent.
