SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a long life, high temperature resistant, anti-squeak lubricant. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an anti-squeak
3、lubricant on elements of seat spring assemblies which are subjected to 260 C processing temperatures. It is not recommended for applications on or near painted interior or exterior automotive finishes. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part pro
4、ducers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COMPOSITION The material shall be composed of calcium complex soap, mineral oil, and suitable additives and fillers to give the required properties. 3.3 COLOR Light Tan 3.4 PENETRATION 265 - 295

7、st Method: Apply 0.76 mm thick x 50 mm x 150 mm and 3.2 mm thick x 50 mm x 150 mm films of grease to clean steel panels of convenient size. Scribe a line 6.4 mm below the grease films parallel to the 50 mm dimension. Place the panels with the 150 mm dimension vertical, in a mechanical convection ove
8、n for 30 minutes at 260 C. Allow the samples to cool and examine the grease films. Any loss of adhesion, flow beyond the scribe line, or evidence of brittleness shall be cause for rejection. 3.12 QUALITY Material shall be a smooth homogeneous product free from abrasive particles, it shall be consist
9、ent in color and texture, and free from objectionable odors during normal storage. It shall be suit-able for the intended application. 5.
