REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 SIGNIFICANT SURFACES All significant surfaces shall meet the corrosion and plat
4、e thickness requirements. Significant surfaces are those which are visible and are subjected to wear and/or corrosion such as heads of screws. Threads and Phillips recess shall be completely plate, but shall not be subject to plate thickness requirements, unless specifically required. 3.2 APPEARANCE
5、 The plated screws shall be free from surface imperfections such as rough or orange peel conditions, pits, slivers, breaks in the plate and areas or lines buffed through the outer layers of metal. 3.3 COMPOSITION 3.3.1 Base Metal Stainless steel as shown on engineering drawings. 3.3.2 Plating Thickn
